Founded back in 1943, Jiffy began as a pioneer in sustainable plant propagation. Our first product, being biodegradable pots, Jiffy quickly grew to produce many different propagation media. Over the decades, Jiffy continued to introduce groundbreaking solutions such as the Jiffy Pellet and Jiffy Preforma, continuously evolving to meet the changing needs of growers and regulations.
Originating in Norway, we have since expanded to multiple production locations, including the Netherlands, the U.S., and Canada. As a truly global horticulture supplier, Jiffy currently serves customers in over 100 countries.

Our peat-free propagation media helps reduce reliance on traditional resources while ensuring optimal plant health and yield.
In 2023, 84% of the European peat Jiffy used was RPP (Responsibly Produced Peat) certified, and we are actively working toward achieving similar milestones in Canada. Meanwhile, our commitment to sustainability is reflected in our decreasing production energy emissions, as we continue to implement renewable energy sources and energy-saving measures. By 2023, 63% of the electricity used across all Jiffy locations came from renewable sources.
