In this exclusive interview, we speak with Mr. Xiao Meng, General Manager of RongSai Technology, to learn about his journey with Jiffy, how he delivers quality products and services to clients, and his outlook for the future.

RongSai Technology: From Fertilizers to Growing Media
Founded in 2018, Rongsai Technology initially focused on horticultural fertilizers and related maintenance products. In 2021, the company formally entered the growing media market, and quickly won the recognition of customers with its high-quality products and professional services. In just a few years, the company has expanded rapidly to serve horticultural businesses, individual growers, and regional distributors.
Nowadays, Rongsai Technology's main products are geared towards the mid- to high-end potted flower market, including red anthuriums, phalaenopsis orchids, poinsettias, begonias and other ornamental plants. In addition, the company provides specialized substrates for vegetable nursery companies.
From First Encounter to Partnership: The Collaboration Between RongSai and Jiffy
In 2023, Rongsai Technology officially became one of Jiffy's distributors in the Chinese market. Talking about this cooperation, Mr. Xiao said, “I was already very familiar with Jiffy's products before we started working together. Their professionalism, global reach and consistent quality made us confident in our cooperation.”
Recalling the beginning of the cooperation, Jiffy's sales team took the initiative to contact Rongsai Technology. With years of experience in importing peat and substrate products, Mr. Xiao had a deep understanding of the advantages of Jiffy's products. “At that time, we were already planning to expand our growing media business. The quality and concept of Jiffy coincided with ours”. After market research and team discussions, Rongsai decided to move forward with the cooperation.
Over the past two years, Jiffy's products and services have been widely recognized by Rongsai and its customers. Mr. Xiao spoke highly of Jiffy's support: “Jiffy has done a great job in terms of service. They responded quickly to our needs and even visited customers with us to help us develop the market.”
Of course, there were also challenges. “Jiffy has a comprehensive product system globally, but some products may not fully suit the Chinese market at first,” Xiao admitted. To address this, RongSai maintained close communication with Jiffy, offering localized suggestions and refining promotional strategies based on customer feedback—jointly striving to promote Jiffy's advanced cultivation solutions to more growers.

As an experienced player in the industry, RongSai Technology is more than just a supplier—it offers all-around support including cultivation advice, technical guidance, and client training. “We provide planting plans, technical advice during the growing process, and even invite third-party agencies for testing when issues arise,” said Mr. Xiao. RongSai also regularly organizes training sessions to help growers improve their skills and acts as a bridge between industry experts and clients.
However ,communication with customers is not always smooth. “Price and quality are the two things clients care about most. We always focus on emphasizing value, not just the price,” he added. By providing extra services and technical support, RongSai has successfully earned customer trust and loyalty.
Customer Case Study: Jiffy Media Improves Kalanchoe Production Efficiency
Mr. Xiao shared a 2023 case study involving a Kalanchoe production site in Shandong that faced challenges such as poor flower color, slow root development, and low bloom. Working with Jiffy, Rongsai tested water and fertilizer samples on-site and helped the customer improve results by replacing the substrate and optimizing fertilizer management.
“Now, their Kalanchoe plants have dark green leaves, compact plants, and strong root systems. They have become one of the most important Kalanchoe producers in northern China and have achieved impressive economic benefits,” Mr. Xiao said proudly.

As Jiffy's new distributor in China, Rongsai Technology is confident about the future. “We hope to create more value with Jiffy and better serve the horticultural industry in China,” said Mr. Xiao.
