Jiffys Produktmanager Jiffy Pots spricht mit Rasmus von Biosund in D\u00e4nemark. Er erkl\u00e4rt, wie er Kr\u00e4uter und Gem\u00fcse biologisch anbaut.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rasmus beginnt: \u201e2017 begannen wir unseren Bioanbau, und zwar mit Bio-Rosen. Aber zurzeit sind Bio-Rosen auf dem Markt nicht mehr so interessant. Deshalb begannen wir letztes Jahr (2019) mit dem Anbau von essbaren Bio-Pflanzen. Dieses Jahr war eine Art Test. Wir hatten nur einen Kunden, aber wir konnten bereits sehen, wie gro\u00df das Potenzial f\u00fcr den Anbau von Pflanzen auf diese (biologische) Art ist. Also begannen wir 2020 mit einer viel gr\u00f6\u00dferen Produktion auf 4000m2.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Biosund stellte auf Jiffy Pots um<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Wir begannen letztes Jahr, so Rasmus, im kleinen Umfang mit etwa 10000 St\u00fcck. Dieses Jahr machen wir viel mehr. Wir begannen mit den traditionellen Kunststofft\u00f6pfen, aber schon bald stellten wir auf Jiffy Pots um. Es war meine Idee. Ich f\u00fchrte einige Diskussionen mit dem Rest der Firma, aber meiner Meinung nach sieht das Produkt so am besten aus. Wenn man etwas anbaut, das zu 100 % \u00f6kologisch ist, braucht man auch einen Topf, der \u00f6kologisch aussieht. Meiner Meinung nach kann man das nicht in einen Kunststofftopf pflanzen. Das ist nicht sehr \u00f6kologisch. Ein Kunde, der unser Produkt getestet hat, sagte uns, wir sollten keine Kunststofft\u00f6pfe benutzen, sondern eine Art abbaubaren Topf. Wir konnten bereits letztes Jahr sehen, dass wir ziemlich guten Erfolg hatten. Dieses Jahr haben wir uns einfach stark vergr\u00f6\u00dfert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Was hat sich ge\u00e4ndert?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Ich w\u00fcrde sagen, wenn man Jiffy verwendet, muss man anders an die Produktion herangehen. Wenn man \u00fcber drei\u00dfig Jahre lang einen normalen Kunststofftopf verwendet hat, wei\u00df man, wie man damit umgeht. Aber man wei\u00df nicht, wie ein Torftopf funktioniert. Wenn wir also mit der Bew\u00e4sserung etwas sp\u00e4t dran sind, m\u00fcssen wir nachdenken. Wenn ein Torftopf trocken wird, dann wird er trocken. Wir haben aus unseren Fehlern gelernt.

Wenn man eine neue Produktlinie auf den Markt bringt, ist es schwer, den Leuten begreiflich zu machen, dass dies tats\u00e4chlich das Beste f\u00fcr die Umwelt und die nachhaltigste Art zu produzieren ist. Sie zu \u00fcberzeugen, keinen Kunststoff zu verwenden, denn die Leute halten das immer noch f\u00fcr das Beste. Aber letztendlich zerst\u00f6rt man keine Wurzeln, weil sie schon in den T\u00f6pfen sind. Diese Art und Weise der Pflanzenzucht hat also Priorit\u00e4t.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wie sieht die Zukunft aus?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Als j\u00fcngerer Erzeuger sieht f\u00fcr mich die Zukunft anders aus, als in den letzten 30-40 Jahren, wo man Probleme mit Chemikalien l\u00f6sen konnte. Meiner Meinung nach sollten wir die Zukunft so sehen, wie Menschen den Pflanzenbau vor 50-60 Jahren betrachtet haben. Wir sollten zur\u00fcck blicken, um f\u00fcr die Zukunft zu lernen. Es ist anders. Wir sollten es tun wie unsere Gro\u00dfeltern. Wir sollten in Zukunft Tomaten so anbauen, wie mein Gro\u00dfvater es vor 70 Jahren tat! Zur\u00fcck zur Natur. Ganz nat\u00fcrlich. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wenn man viele Chemikalien verwendet, zerst\u00f6rt man das biologische Material auf den Bl\u00e4ttern. Wenn man das nicht tut, bleibt die Pflanze viel widerstandsf\u00e4higer und st\u00e4rker. Und man hat auch nicht viele Probleme mit Krankheiten und Sch\u00e4dlingen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
